1. Do you accept cash payments?

Due to the nature of our business, we are unable to accept cash payments. However, we do offer many other convenient payment options.

2. Is it possible to invest in physical gold and silver in my Registered Savings Account(s)?

Yes, our Registered Savings Program allows you to safely and securely hold gold and silver in a savings plan registered with the government of Canada in tax-advantaged accounts.

3. What are your shipping and insurance costs?

All shipments are fully insured with tracking information and signature required upon delivery – at no additional cost! 

4. Can I use my existing Registered Savings Account(s)?

Yes, you are always free to transfer your current holdings (stocks, bonds, ETF’s and cash) found in your Registered Savings Account from one institution to another. The process is simple and done entirely online.

5. Are storage fees tax deductible?

Unfortunately, storage fees for personal account are not tax deductible. However, business accounts can claim storage fees as a business expense.

6. Are my metals in storage insured?

Gold and silver products are insured at their spot values through Lloyds of London.

7. How is the storage fee calculated in my registered account?

Questrade will handle the calculation and withdrawal of funds for you.

The storage fee is 1% of the market value of the metals held in your investment account. For example, if you hold $10,000 in metal, your cost to remain in the program would be $100 per year. This fee is calculated monthly and withdrawn from the cash balance within the individual registered account.

Please note we’ll always set aside 1% worth of cash (or more, if you choose) in your RSP account before placing a purchase to ensure you have enough cash to cover these fees.

8. What gold and silver products can I hold in my Registered Savings Account?

The products must be pure gold (.9999) or pure silver (.999), and only LMBA approved products can be placed inside of an RSP. This includes metals from popular mints such as the Royal Canadian Mint, Asahi Mint, Perth Mint, Credit Suisse, etc. Inventory conditions do apply, as metals must be deposited quickly into storage after placing a purchase. Our RSP team can discuss with you the different products that can be used at the time of purchase.

9. Do you price match?

Yes, we’ll price match any authorized bullion dealer if the all-in cost (including shipping) is below ours. Give us a call at 403-910-7395 and we’ll be happy to assist you with a price match.

10. What is your return policy?

If you’re not happy with your order, please contact our support team within 3 business days of delivery. You are responsible for the return shipping and insurance costs, as well as any applicable market loss.

11. How do I purchase gold and silver through my Registered Savings Account?

Purchases are always done over the phone with a member of our RSP team. Once your account is funded with Questrade, we’ll give you a call and help you place your order. Alternatively, if you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to call us at 403-910-7395

13. Will I pay taxes if I transfer my Registered Savings Account to you?

No, transferring your registered savings from one institution to another is not a taxable event.
